- Lead engineering for Oxagen’s core platform — ingestion, graph storage, MCP surfaces, and control plane.
- Balance startup velocity with security, tenancy, and reliability expectations from serious enterprises.
- Partner with product and customers on schema-first modeling, performance, and operability.
What you’ll drive
- Roadmap and architecture for multi-tenant Neo4j-backed services, APIs, and agent-facing contracts.
- Hiring bar and culture: small team, high trust, no meeting theater — reviews are code and graphs.
- Incident mindset: blameless postmortems, fast fixes, and systems that fail less often over time.
Profile
- You’ve led eng for a product with real production traffic — not just internal tools.
- You still read code weekly and can challenge technical direction without slowing shipping.
- Experience with graphs, search, or high-ingest data planes is a strong plus.
